In a vibrant assembly that spanned from April 25th to 27th, MAPFRE Sigorta brought together its esteemed business partners for a noteworthy agency meeting in the beautiful city of Antalya. With the compelling motto, The stage is yours with your success!, the event was a grand celebration attended by 150 of MAPFRE Sigorta’s agencies.
The meeting served as a platform to review MAPFRE Sigorta’s 2024 performance, discuss sectoral developments, and outline strategic priorities. Agencies were acknowledged for their dedication through the presentation of seniority, production, and productivity awards. A highlight of the event was a captivating performance by the renowned artist Sıla, who enchanted the audience with her popular songs, adding a melodious finale to the gathering.
Javier R. Moreno Gonzalez, CEO of MAPFRE EMEA, delivered an inspiring opening speech, emphasizing the Group’s commitment to long-term value creation. He remarked, “MAPFRE stands out with its core values, partnership ethos, and social vision, achieving a net profit increase of 29% to €992 million in 2024. Our premium production saw a growth of 4.5%, reaching over €28.1 billion, while total revenues surged to €33.2 billion. These results speak volumes about our stability and healthy growth.”
Gonzalez further highlighted the significance of Turkey in MAPFRE’s global strategy, stating, “Turkey holds a special place in our vision as we continue to invest in its potential and human resources. MAPFRE Sigorta’s robust performance, driven by digitalization and customer satisfaction, has been pivotal in this success story. Our business partners are the cornerstone of this vision, and I am confident that our mutual trust will lead us to a more agile, digital, and sustainable future.”
In his address, Erdinç Yurtseven, General Manager of MAPFRE Insurance, expressed pride in representing a global insurance powerhouse while sharing achievements with business partners. “In 2024, MAPFRE Sigorta advanced to 12th place in premium production in Turkey, with a 115% increase in net profit,” he noted. “Our commitment to sustainable growth and financial stability is evident in our performance, and we will continue to enhance our service quality through digitalization and customer focus.”
Yıldırım Türe, Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing, echoed the sentiments of collaboration and innovation. He emphasized, “The growth of our sector relies on trust and cooperation. Our recent agency satisfaction survey results, showing our highest scores yet, underscore our commitment to this mission.”
