Official Confirmation of Mohammed Sinwar’s Death

In a recent announcement on his X account, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed what he called the ‘official’ death of Mohammed Sinwar, the brother of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. This announcement came in the wake of intensified military operations in Gaza.

Commitment to Neutralizing Threats

“We will eliminate all those involved in the attacks,” Katz declared, emphasizing Israel’s determination to dismantle the operational capabilities of Hamas. He reported that both Mohammed Sinwar and Mohammed Shabane had been targeted and killed in an Israeli military strike on the European Hospital in Gaza.

Targeting Senior Hamas Leadership

The Defense Minister further warned that Israel would continue its targeted operations against senior members of Hamas. Among those identified were Khalil al-Hayya, a prominent Hamas leader, and Izz ad-Din al-Haddad, a key figure within the Kassam Brigades Military Council. Katz reiterated Israel’s resolve to hold accountable all individuals connected to the attacks on October 7, 2023.
