Following its announcement at the WWDC25 event, the developer beta version of iOS 26 was released for those eager to explore the innovations. The final version of iOS 26 is set to launch alongside the iPhone 17 series in September.

With the debut of iOS 26, support for updates has ceased for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR models, which will now only receive essential security updates.
