The Successor to Vivo’s X100s: The Vivo X200s

The Vivo X200s emerges as the latest addition to Vivo’s esteemed flagship lineup, taking the baton from last year’s acclaimed X100s model. Unlike its predecessor, this model does not come with a Pro variant but stands out with its own unique features and advancements.

Display and Performance

Boasting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, the X200s offers a resolution of 1260p and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a vivid and fluid visual experience. The device is powered by the formidable MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, complemented by RAM options of 12 GB or 16 GB, alongside storage capacities ranging from 256 GB to a striking 1 TB.

Camera Capabilities

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the impressive camera system shared with its sibling, the X200. It features a 50 MP f/1.6 main camera, a 50 MP f/2.6 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP f/2.0 ultra-wide camera. The front houses a 32 MP camera for high-quality selfies.

Battery and Charging

One of the X200s’s standout features is its robust 6200 mAh battery, the largest in the Vivo X series to date. The device supports swift charging solutions with 90W wired and 40W wireless options.

Software and Additional Features

Running on OriginOS paired with Android 15, the Vivo X200s introduces innovative features like an AI-driven spam call filter, a dedicated homework assistant, and a localized version of ‘Circle to Search’ for seamless online searches. Additional enhancements include 360-degree NFC, an expansive vapor chamber cooling system, sophisticated antenna designs, and smart network switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data.

Availability and Pricing

Set to hit the Chinese market on April 25th, the Vivo X200s is available in four elegant colors: Black, White, Green, and Lavender Purple. The starting price is $575/€500 for the 12/256 GB variant. It is important to note that, similar to the X200 Ultra, this model is not anticipated to be available outside of China.
