Huawei is gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated Nova 14 smartphone lineup in China next week. The launch event, scheduled for May 19, will see the introduction of three distinct models: the Nova 14, 14 Pro, and 14 Ultra.
In anticipation of the launch, Huawei has released promotional visuals showcasing the Nova 14 Ultra in four striking color variants. While the Nova 14 Ultra maintains the iconic circular camera design reminiscent of its predecessor, the camera module has been strategically repositioned lower on the device, enhancing its aesthetic appeal with softer contours.
The circular camera housing features four sensors: a primary sensor, a telephoto lens, an ultra-wide camera, and the innovative Red Maple Colour sensor. This addition, first seen in the Mate 70 series, is described as a multi-spectrum image sensor designed to capture light data with greater accuracy, thereby ensuring more precise color reproduction. Huawei emphasizes this sensor as a standout feature, elevating the Nova 14 Ultra above its competitors in the mid-upper smartphone segment.
Anticipated to feature a 6.8-inch display, the Nova 14 Ultra will be powered by the advanced Kirin 9 series processor. Moreover, it will debut as the first device operating on the latest HarmonyOS 5 platform, promising an enhanced user experience.
