Following the successful launch of the MagicPad 2 tablet in July of last year, Honor is gearing up to reveal its successor. According to recent rumors from China, the Honor MagicPad 3 is scheduled for an official unveiling later this month.
The latest model is anticipated to introduce a significant change. Unlike the previous MagicPad 2, which featured a 12.3-inch OLED display, the MagicPad 3 will be equipped with a 13.2-inch LCD screen. This strategic shift from OLED back to LCD appears to be a decision driven by cost efficiency. Nevertheless, the device is expected to retain a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Powering the MagicPad 3 will be the robust Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, offering enhanced performance over its predecessor. Users can expect configurations with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage capacities reaching up to 1 TB.
The tablet will support 66 W wired charging, ensuring quick power-ups. As for aesthetics, the MagicPad 3 will be available in three sophisticated color options: Moon Shadow White, Floating Gold, and Starry Sky Gray.
The pricing details for the Honor MagicPad 3 remain undisclosed at this time.
