The eagerly anticipated Black Myth: Wukong has officially received its release date for the Xbox Series consoles. Developed and published by Game Science, this highly acclaimed game is set to make its debut on Xbox Series on August 20, 2025. This announcement brings an end to the speculation that has surrounded its release on this platform.

Previously available on PC and PlayStation 5, the absence of an Xbox Series version at launch left fans puzzled. Statements from both Game Science and Microsoft did little to clarify the situation, with each side suggesting different reasons for the delay. Feng Ji, the head of Game Science studio, cited optimization issues due to the shared 10 GB memory of the Xbox Series S model. In contrast, Microsoft insisted there were no restrictions on their end.

Fans can look forward to pre-ordering the game starting June 18, 2025, with an attractive 20% discount.
