At Computex 2025, AMD officially introduced its latest graphics card, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, which is built on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture. This new release directly challenges Nvidia’s latest offerings, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti. AMD is providing two VRAM options for the RX 9060 XT, offering both 8 GB and 16 GB configurations. The graphics card is set to hit the market on June 5th.
The RX 9060 XT is equipped with 32 RDNA 4 processing units and supports FSR4. It boasts a boost clock speed of 3.13GHz and compatibility with DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b. Depending on the model, the total power consumption varies between 150W and 182W. According to AMD’s internal tests across 40 games, the 16GB variant offers approximately 6 percent better performance compared to Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB at a resolution of 1440p. Notably, the card utilizes GDDR6 memory. However, the 8 GB VRAM option might be a limitation for modern gaming requirements.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT will be available on June 5th, with the 8 GB version priced at $299, while the 16 GB model will carry a price tag of $349. Unlike Nvidia’s approach with the RTX 5060, AMD has been transparent with pre-launch reviews, showcasing confidence in their latest product.
