As anticipated, artificial intelligence was a focal point at Apple’s WWDC25 event held today. Apple, building on its Apple Intelligence suite that debuted with iOS 18, unveiled a slew of innovative AI capabilities that will enhance its products with the forthcoming iOS 26.
Among these new features, the ability to summarize calls stands out. Apple Intelligence is designed to analyze audio recordings to extract the most pertinent information and provide concise summaries for users. This functionality will extend to voice recordings taken in the Notes app during meetings or conferences, as well as to voice calls. Essentially, Apple users can instruct Apple Intelligence to summarize a phone call.
To utilize this feature, users must record the call via the Call app. The recording can then be accessed in the Notes app, where users can prompt the AI to generate a summary. Presently, Apple Intelligence does not support Turkish. However, Apple has announced during today’s event that Turkish support will be integrated by the year’s end. Thus, users can soon expect this feature to be available for conversations in Turkish.
