What is the Function of Cronus Zen?
For those who aren’t familiar, Cronus Zen (and its predecessors) facilitate the use of scripts and macros in games and are compatible with consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While macros may seem harmless in single-player environments, they’ve garnered a notorious reputation in multiplayer games. The device is known for activating features such as enhanced aim assist, reduced weapon recoil, automatic drop-shot, and more. The Stance Against Cheaters
Christian Buhl, the technical director for Battlefield 6, stated in an interview with Push Square, “It’s unfortunate that cheating has become widespread in the console gaming arena, particularly with devices like Cronus Zen. That’s why we’ve worked closely with PlayStation and Microsoft to create a detection system. On the PC front, our Javelin system is quite effective. We have also activated the Secure Boot feature to strengthen our efforts against this persistent issue. We take cheating on consoles very seriously.”
