Windhawk 1.6: Now Supporting ARM64 Devices

For users who desire a more customizable Windows experience, Windhawk, a popular modding tool, has expanded its capabilities. With the release of Windhawk 1.6, the software now fully supports devices equipped with ARM processors, opening up new possibilities for customization on devices like the Surface Pro 11 powered by Snapdragon processors.

This latest version introduces full ARM64 support, making it possible to install Windhawk on ARM64 versions of Windows. This enhancement allows for the personalization of native ARM64 applications, although some limitations remain when customizing x86 and x64 programs on ARM64 Windows. These restrictions might be addressed in future updates. The developer notes, ‘Some mods may need adjustments by their authors to function correctly on ARM64 Windows.’

In addition to ARM64 compatibility, Windhawk 1.6 provides several other improvements. The update includes localization support on the ‘Explore’ page, enhanced mod unloading to prevent crashes—ensuring mods finish execution before unloading—and a variety of bug fixes and crash resolutions.
