Türkiye Sigorta continues to support children in village schools through the project “Let’s Get Them Reading as We Read, Let’s Bring Children and Books Together,” which was launched in April in collaboration with Kitapsepeti KÖK Platform. Employees and agencies from Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik have donated over 1,700 books since the project’s launch in April.
Turkey Insurance General Director Atilla Benli, Deputy General Director Fatih Yıldız, Corporate Communications Director Selda Çamlıbel, and Kitapsepeti KÖK Platform directors paid a visit to Doğantepe Primary School in Kocaeli’s Başiskele district, where they enriched the school’s library with 500 books on June 30.
The 1700 books donated by Türkiye Sigorta employees and agencies, who initiated the “Let’s Get Them Reading as We Read, Let’s Bring Children and Books Together” project in April, were delivered to Kocaeli Başiskele Doğantepe Primary School, Ağrı Doğubeyazıt İncesu Primary School and Yozgat Belekçihan Primary School.
The directors of Türkiye Sigorta ve Kitapsepeti KÖK Platform visited Doğantepe Primary School and donated 500 books to the school’s library as part of the project on June 30.

Atilla Benli, Türkiye Sigorta General Director, expressed his happiness with the project, thanking the Türkiye Sigorta Family for initiating the project in April for 1500 books and exceeding the target, and stating “We started a meaningful project in April in collaboration with the Kitapsepeti KÖK Platform.” Our goal is to help our children, who are the future of our country, in every part of the country as much as we can. I would like to thank the entire Türkiye Sigorta family who participated the project wearing their hearts on their sleeves today. We are happy to support the library of our adorable Doğantepe Primary School in Kocaeli’s Başiskele district. Our efforts in this direction will continue in line with our awareness of social responsibility.”
