Mr Taha Çakmak, General Manager of Türkiye Sigorta, stated that they have confidence in Turkey and the growth potential of the country's economy; "As the leading company of the sector, we provide assurance for the strategic investments of our country, while we work to ensure that our insurance products reach our people in the easiest way. We take our strength from our name and our country. With this strength, we are proud to close the year 2023 with a new record. We increased our premium production by 136 per cent and achieved a production of TL 59 billion 518 million. In 2024, we will continue our progress in all branches and continue to develop and strengthen together with our country."
In the period between 1 January - 31 December 2023, Türkiye Sigorta increased its total premium production by 136% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching approximately TL 60 billion and adding another success to its upward momentum.
Stating that 2023 was a year in which Türkiye Sigorta became even stronger and achieved many successes in the sector, Mr Taha Çakmak, General Manager of Türkiye Sigorta, said: "The record-high rates of change in our premium production figures, which regularly increase at a record level compared to the previous month and year, are the most concrete indicators of our successful corporate performance. We not only maintain our sector leadership but also exhibit an ever-increasing growth in all branches. As Türkiye Sigorta, which derives its strength from its name, we are happy to have achieved such a proud record. In addition to our total premium production, we achieved significant growth rates especially in the motor insurance, health, fire and natural disasters branches in individual product groups in line with our strategy. In the fire and natural disasters branch, we reached a total premium production of TL 12.5 billion with a high growth of 207 percent. While we achieved premium production of TL 8 billion with a positive change of 255 percent in the motor branch of land vehicles, we achieved premium production of TL 4 billion with an increase of 221 percent in the sickness/health branch and TL 4 billion with an increase of 156 percent in the accident branch. We will continue to increase our premium production in all branches in 2024; we will continue to grow and strengthen together with our country."
