People-Oriented Strategy for Sustainable Service from Unico Sigorta

Implementing its business plan on "Change, Transformation and Development" in 2022 in order to provide fast and accurate solutions to changing customer needs, Unico Sigorta continues to invest in this context.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary in the sector this year, Unico Sigorta made three senior appointments in line with its people-oriented approach: Barış Tabakoğlu became Regional Sales Director, İbrahim Ağacık Corporate Sales Director and Emre Anıl Can Customer Excellence Centre Coordinator.

Ender Güzeler, General Manager of Unico Sigorta, stated that these appointments will contribute to understanding and developing the need for services that customers will feel secure with the increasing uncertainty in the world and in our country, and continued his words as follows: "As Unico Sigorta, with the strength we derive from our roots and our people-oriented approach, we walk with them on the journey that will make them feel safe in the future. The primary goal of Unico Sigorta employees is to know, understand and respect our customers and to serve them with a sustainable approach that will move forward with hope for the future."

Barış Tabakoğlu graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Economics and started his insurance career in 1997. Having worked in sales and marketing positions at Yapı Kredi Insurance, Güneş Insurance and Koru Insurance respectively, Tabakoğlu has been working as HDI Insurance Financial Institutions and Health Insurance Sales Group Manager since 2021. Tabakoğlu became Unico Sigorta Regional Sales Director as of 1 October 2023.

Emre Anıl Can, a graduate of Anadolu University Management Information Systems, started his career as a sales officer at Citi Bank in 2011 and continued as a customer service team leader at Sompo Sigorta. Since 2014, he has held various managerial positions at HDI Sigorta, and as of 18 September 2023, he became the Customer Excellence Centre Coordinator at Unico Sigorta.

Change in Corporate Sales Directorate

İbrahim Ağacık, who previously served as Head of Product Management and Business Development Group and Regional Sales Director at Unico Sigorta, was appointed as Corporate Sales Director. Ağacık, who completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Cumhuriyet University and his master's degree at Nişantaşı University, worked at Güneş Sigorta, Ankara Sigorta, Dubai Starr Sigorta and Quick Sigorta respectively. Ağacık will serve as Corporate Sales Director responsible for Corporate Agencies and Brokers at Unico Sigorta as of 1 October 2023.
