The Smart-i Awards, organised for the second time this year to support products and services aimed at the development of insurance, to encourage innovative projects and creativity in the sector, was held as part of the 12th Insurance Week with the main theme of "Innovative Transformation". Türkiye Sigorta received two awards: gold in the "Social Responsibility" category with the "Türkiye Sigorta One Heart Social Responsibility Project" and silver in the "Most Innovative Product" category with the "One Heart Building and Property Insurance" specially prepared for those who opened their homes to earthquake victims by supporting the "Evim Yuvan Olsun Campaign".
Mr Çağrı Akpınar, Deputy General Manager of Technical and Agencies Sales at Türkiye Sigorta, said: "As Türkiye Sigorta, we have been in the region since the first day of the earthquake with our fast and agile approach and stood by our people. We offered the assurance of "One Heart Building and Property Insurance" for those who opened their homes to earthquake victims in the Evim Yuvan Olsun Project. We issued 3 thousand 12 policies for the One Heart Building and Property Insurance, which was launched immediately after the earthquake, and we have made a premium payment exceeding 1 million 54 thousand TL so far."
Ms Selda Çamlıbel Özkoyuncu, Corporate Communications and Brand Management Director of Türkiye Sigorta, said the following about the award they received in the social responsibility category for their efforts in the earthquake region: "The award we won was a source of happiness and pride for us. After the great disaster we experienced, we focused our efforts on the earthquake region. In this context, we received the gold award with the "Turkey Insurance One Heart Social Responsibility Project". It is a great pride for us to crown our projects in the region with an award."
