Magdeburger Sigorta is ready for new achievements under the leadership of its new General Manager Ceyhan Hancıoğlu!

The new General Manager of Magdeburger Sigorta, one of the world's leading insurance companies with its deep-rooted history, operating under Bor Holding, is Ceyhan Hancıoğlu with more than thirty-three years of experience in the insurance sector.

Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, who has left behind thirty-three years full of success stories in the insurance sector, took the general manager's seat at Magdeburger Sigorta as of 15 September.

In 2018, Magdeburger Sigorta, which started its activities under the roof of Bor Holding, maintained its position in the sector with its competent workforce, strong agency network and innovative approach. In 2022, Magdeburger Sigorta, which started its strategic transformation processes, is ready to write new success stories with the senior appointment.

Hancıoğlu, who has achieved many firsts in the sector with his innovative vision, started his professional career at AGF Garanti Sigorta in 1990 after graduating from Private Saint-Michel French High School in 1984 and graduating from Istanbul University, Department of Business Administration in 1988. After serving in this position for five years, he was appointed as Technical Group Director. Between 1995 and 1997, he worked as Istanbul Regional Manager at Commercial Union Insurance. From 1997 onwards, he served as Technical Assistant General Manager at Emek Sigorta, Kapital Sigorta, Axa Oyak Sigorta, Şeker Sigorta and Güven Sigorta.

In 2007, Mr Ceyhan Hancıoğlu became Assistant General Manager of Technical and Corporate Sales at Finans Sigorta and in 2008, he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager of Sales at Ergo Sigorta Emeklilik ve Hayat. In 2009, he was appointed as the Assistant General Manager of Technical Sales at HDI Sigorta and continued to serve as the CEO of HDI Sigorta as of 2013. During his tenure, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu contributed greatly to the transformation of the company and played an important role in acquisitions and the realisation of financial growth targets.
