As of the end of August, the total gross premium production of Turkey Insurance, the leading company in the insurance sector, reached TL 33 billion 539 million 326 thousand 622 in 2023, an increase of 127 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

On a product basis, the highest year-on-year increase was realized in the sickness/health branch with TL 1 billion 644 million 970 thousand 180 in premium production, up 246 percent. In the accident branch, Turkey Insurance recorded a 223% growth rate of TL 2 billion 428 million 62 thousand 545 in premium production, and in the fire and natural disasters branch, the Company reached TL 7 billion 586 million 841 thousand 162 in premium production with a growth rate of 212%.

In terms of other branches, Türkiye Sigorta achieved premium production of TL 7 billion 929 million 973 thousand 211 in general losses with an increase of 78 percent compared to the previous year. The company achieved 93 percent growth in the land vehicles liability branch, reaching TL 8 billion 402 million 212 thousand 676 in premium production. In addition, the company recorded an increase of 164 percent in the land vehicles branch, reaching TL 3 billion 952 million 280 thousand 729.
