Four meetings in one day from the Insurance Professional Committee, reminder from SAİK

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Insurance Professional Committee held a meeting on four different issues in one day. On the other hand, SAİK made an important announcement for the registered agencies. SAİK Vice President Özgür Yılmaz shared the following statements on the subject:

"As of September 13, 2023, we have realized the first of our regulation targets that we want to implement in order to control the irregular and illegal branches that we have included in our work program before the SAİK elections.

If the branch managers of the existing branches (registered in the register) are not already registered in the trade registry, they must complete the registration procedures to the trade registry as authorized in the relevant branch until October 30, 2023 at the latest (including this date).

Otherwise, the sanctions stipulated in the relevant legislation will be applied."
