Ceyhan Hancıoğlu is the New General Manager of Magdeburger Sigorta

The new address of Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, one of the experienced managers of the sector, has been announced. Hancıoğlu will be the General Manager of Magdeburger Sigorta as of September 15.

The former general manager of HDI Sigorta announced his new position with the following message:

"Dear colleagues, I am very excited again. We now have another warm home for our new story. Following the approval of SEDDK, I will start my duty at Magdeburger Insurance as of September 15th. I would like to thank Mr. Özgür, Chairman of Magdeburger's Board of Directors, and Ms. Müge, Deputy Chairman, who believed in me very much. We will continue to work for all our sector stakeholders again and again, God willing. I am also looking forward to getting together with my new team and all our business partners as soon as possible and bringing Magdeburger Sigorta to much better places. On the other hand, I wish that the decision taken by my beloved brother Erhan Toklu will be beneficial to him and his loved ones."

Who is Ceyhan Hancıoğlu?

Born in 1967 in Istanbul, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu graduated from Saint Michel French High School and then from Istanbul University, Department of Business Administration in 1988. Hancıoğlu started her insurance career at AGF Garanti Sigorta in 1990 and worked in different positions at Emek Sigorta, Kapital Sigorta, Axa Oyak Sigorta, Şeker Sigorta and Güven Sigorta since 1997. In 2007, Mr. Hancıoğlu was appointed Assistant General Manager of Technical and Corporate Sales at Finans Sigorta, and in 2008, he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Ergo Swiss Insurance Pension and Life. In 2009, Mr. Hancıoğlu was appointed as Technical Assistant General Manager at HDI Sigorta and then worked as Business Development Coordinator at Strateji Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage. Since 2013, Hancıoğlu has been the General Manager of HDI Sigorta. In August 2023, Hancıoğlu resigned from this position and is married with two children.
