Taha Çakmak is the new president of the Agricultural Insurance Pool

Taha Çakmak became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Insurance Pool Incorporated Company, which is responsible for the business and operations of the Agricultural Insurance Pool established within the framework of the Agricultural Insurance Law No. 5363. In the statement made by TARSİM, Atilla Benli, who handed over his position as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Insurance Pool Management Joint Stock Company, was thanked for his contributions, and Taha Çakmak was wished the best for his new position.

About Taha Çakmak:

Taha Çakmak graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in English. After working as an Auditor at Deloitte Touche & Tohmatsu in 2004 and as an Assistant Inspector at the Social Insurance Institution in 2005, he worked as Inspector at the Inspection Board, Business Design Manager at the Operations Center Department, Ankara Retail Branch Manager, Human Resources Department Head and Ankara Public Corporate Branch Manager at Ziraat Bank between 2005-2019.

After serving as the Head of Department at the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Privatization Administration in 2019, Taha Çakmak served as the Deputy Chairman of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency between 2019-2021 and as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey between 2021-2023.
