Change of Flag in HDI Sigorta Senior Management

Mr. Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, who has been the General Manager of HDI Sigorta since 2013, will hand over his position to his colleague Mr. Firuzan İşcan upon the approval of the Undersecretariat of Treasury, General Directorate of Insurance.

Ms. Firuzan İşcan, who will take over from Ms. Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, is expected to officially start her duties on August 16, 2023 following the completion of the legal process. After ten years as General Manager, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu will leave HDI Sigorta under the most amicable conditions and will continue his career with different opportunities.

Firuzan İşcan, who has held senior positions in Turkey's leading companies, most recently served as Assistant General Manager in charge of Sales and Marketing at AXA Insurance. Throughout her career spanning more than twenty years, while implementing pioneering steps towards sustainable profitable growth, she has achieved highly successful results in sales organizations and new product development, and has succeeded in continuously increasing the corporate culture and sense of belonging of employees.

Under Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, who served as a Board Member for 14 years and General Manager for 10 years, HDI Sigorta A.Ş. has grown from EUR 187 million in premiums to EUR 867 million in premium volume since 2013. He also played an important role in the acquisitions of Liberty Sigorta A.Ş. in 2018, Ergo Sigorta A.Ş. in 2019, Fiba Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. in 2022 and the establishment of HDI Katılım Sigorta A.Ş. in early 2023.
