Dell is expanding its recently redesigned Dell 14 Plus series, originally launched last month. The newest additions to the lineup feature AMD’s Krackan Point processors, offering a more cost-effective alternative to models powered by Intel’s Lunar Lake processors.
The starting price for these AMD-equipped models is $800, making them a budget-friendly choice compared to the Intel-powered variants, which are priced from $1000. The 2-in-1 variant of this series is available for $850.
The base model of the Dell 14 Plus is driven by an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 APU, featuring an 8-core, 12-thread CPU paired with a DNA3-based Radeon 840M integrated graphics processor. This model also boasts an NPU capable of delivering 50 TOPS of processing power for handling AI workloads.
Additionally, the laptop is equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5 7500 MHz RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD for storage. A higher-tier configuration is available, featuring the Ryzen AI 7 350 with a Radeon 860M integrated graphics processor, priced at $950 for 1TB of storage. For those seeking enhanced performance, a version with 32 GB RAM and an upgraded integrated GPU is available for $1150.
