AXA XL has announced key promotions within its cyber and technology division. Greg Chambers has been elevated to oversee the company’s complex cyber risk portfolio, while Caitlin Alpern steps into the role of team lead within the large and complex segment. Chambers will now spearhead a specialized portfolio addressing sophisticated cyber risks. Alpern is set to manage high-profile accounts and will contribute to the broader management of the portfolio.
Karen Moran, pictured left, is set to join Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) as the executive vice president and president of commercial markets. Her appointment is effective April 7, 2025. Moran will succeed Ken Dallafior, who is retiring after an impactful two-decade tenure. She brings a wealth of experience in healthcare management and insurance services.

With more than 25 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry, MacMullin will lead the charge in delivering insurance solutions tailored for the commercial hospitality and premium real estate sectors.
Robert Conyers Jr. will join Jeff Hubbard at Brown & Riding to co-lead the firm’s environmental practice. Conyers, who was named a principal in 2023, has been with the company since 2017. In his expanded role, he will work alongside Hubbard to enhance the team and implement strategic initiatives aimed at bolstering environmental risk management capabilities nationwide.
